Make it Bright and Sunlight Readable
For high performance display technology that can stand-up to the brightest sunlight conditions, look no further than Q-Vio’s family of sunlight readable displays from ranging in size from 4.1”- 32” They beat the daylight out of sunlight with ultra bright, easy-to-read displays, even in direct sunlight. Built in a Class 1000 clean-room, these low power, RoHS compliant LED backlit displays offer superior uniformity and outstanding thermal management for fan-less operation.
With original factory display footprint, Q-Vio panels offer an easy upgrade path to sunlight readability. These low power displays are perfect for a wide range of products where size, weight, power and sharp readability in bright sunlight are essential. Outdoor Kiosks, Marine Console monitors, Aviation, monitors for industrial Machinery and Military Display Equipment are just a few of the many applications that can benefit from the power and brightness of the large size displays.
To power and control the custom LED backlights, Q-Vio has developed a RoHS compliant LED driver board that is specifically designed to power up the displays. Their wide dimming range offers a stable, uniform brightness from the extreme low end through true sunlight readable levels.
LCD Ruggedization
Extra Protection to Endure Harsh Environments
The LCD market continues to develop more efficient, higher resolution and lower cost displays using lower power single light bar LED backlights. They are also getting thinner and less robust. This makes enhancement to true Sunlight Readability (1000 nits or greater) increasingly difficult using the factory backlight arrangement.
Q-Vio has developed a new ultra-rugged high bright family of sunlight readable displays that is based upon custom robust aluminum frame along with special light guide design that allows Q-Vio to control all aspects of the backlight. Single rail, dual rail or even 4 sided are all achievable with Q-Vio’s custom ruggedization.
These panels have exceptional thermal management with the entire frame acting as a large heatsink. Because these ultra-bright sunlight readable displays are more rigid and robust for mission-critical applications that need high shock and vibration resistance, they are a perfect fit for rugged Military display systems, Maritime LCDs or Panel Mount LCD applications. Night Vision (NVIS) is also an option with this family.
